- Local car painting is a procedure in which a partial painting of the car body is carried out. Observing the technological card in strict order by the experienced craftsmen of our paint center, we get a high-quality and necessary result for many years. Here are some of the main key stages of the work:
1.Cleaning of current and potential corrosion is carried out in two main ways: mechanical and chemical. Mechanical stripping involves the use of abrasive tools such as brushes and sandpapers to remove corrosion. Chemical cleaning, in turn, is carried out with the help of special acidic solutions that effectively fight rust and remove it from the surface.
2.After removing the source of corrosion, the paintwork is thoroughly sanded using a grinding machine. This process helps to create a smooth surface prepared for applying a new coat of paint. In addition, the surface of the car body is decreased using a special solvent. This allows you to remove the remnants of oils, fats and other contaminants, providing better adhesion and quality of application of the following coating layers.
3.The priming process involves the use of various types of primers, including primary (primers), secondary (fillers), epoxy, insulator primers (sealers) and adhesive primers for plastic. The primer is applied in 2-3 layers with an interval between applications of 15-20 minutes. This allows you to achieve the required thickness and ensure good adhesion between the surface and subsequent coating layers.
4.After applying a layer of soil, repeated grinding is performed, during which the soil layer is thoroughly sanded using sandpaper or a grinder until a smooth surface is achieved. This stage allows you to eliminate any irregularities, traces of grinding and provide a perfectly smooth base for subsequent paint application.
5.When painting the body, we use a special spray gun, which ensures uniform and high-quality application of the paintwork. It is recommended to apply the paintwork in two layers to achieve optimal density and durability of the coating. At the end of the painting stage, the car remains in a warm chamber, where optimal conditions are created for drying and curing of the coating.
